Henryetta Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 539 would like to thank all of the groups and individuals who helped place and collect over 2,000 flags for Memorial Day.
In addition, Post 539 would like to thank everyone who attended Memorial Day Services held at Westlawn Cemetery on Monday morning.
Special thanks is given to Henryetta High School Band Director Allan Montgomery and two of his students who played Taps during services.
This year, just over 2,700 flags were placed on veteran graves at six area cemeteries.
