Author Biography:

British author, Mary Hoffman was born April 20, 1945 in Hampshire, England. She was the youngest of three sisters.

She studied both English and Linguistics in college and worked as a reading consultant, journalist and freelance writer.

Hoffman works in Italy often and speaks Italian.

She married in 1972 and they have three daughters. She and her husband started the Greystones Press.

Hoffman is the author of over 90 books for both children and adults.

Her children’s picture book “Amazing Grace” is one of her bestknown works along with her “Stravaganza” teen fiction series.

Her first book, “White Magic,” was published in 1975.
