Reimbursement amounts of $17,119 and $6,966.50 for engineering and inspection services for the water main replacement project along Trudgeon Street and Hwy. 75 were also approved.
Minutes of the Feb. 14 regular meeting and a financial report for February were reviewed and accepted.
Discussion was held regarding replacing the phone number currently listed on the available land billboard at I-40 Exit 237 at a cost of $1,200. The number currently listed is for the City of Henryetta.
If approved, the new number listed will go directly to HEDA Chairman Keith Estes.
No action was taken.
For the City of Henryetta Projects Report, there was no city official or employee available to present an update.
HEDA Trustee Bruce Jones said that, according to Henryetta Public Works Director Ron Casey, metal posts on the property at the southeast corner of Trudgeon and 5th Streets will be removed. New parking signs have been ordered for the lot.
Jill Francis asked if QuikTrip was still on track to open in April.
“According to an email from Christy Jeffcoat,” HEDA Secretary/Treasuer Ron Richmond said, “it will be mid-April when QuikTrip project construction closes out.”
No new business was presented and the meeting adjourned.
HEDA trustees in attendance were Bruce Jones, Jim Beymer and Jill Francis. Andy Bealko, Keith Estes and Christy Jeffcoat were absent.
