Oklahoma Blood Institute invites blood donors to visit "Obie the Blood Drop" and "The Chocolate Factory" at donor centers throughout the state on Tuesday, Nov. 23 and Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This includes Ada, Ardmore, Edmond, Enid, Lawton, Norman, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Donors will receive a nine-inch Field's pecan pie, a chocolate bar and their choice of free holiday movie-themed long sleeve t-shirt.
One lucky donor at each donor center will find a Golden Ticket in the wrapper of their chocolate bar, redeemable for a $250 Visa Gift Card.
Donors will also receive a free COVID-19 antibody test while supplies last.*
Oklahoma Blood Institute is the nation's sixth largest non-profit blood collector, providing every drop of blood for more than 160 hospitals and medical facilities statewide.

Walk-in to any mobile blood drive or donation center are also welcome.
*16-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds and provide signed parental permission; 17-year-olds must weigh at least 125 pounds; 18+ year olds must weigh at least 110 pounds. Photo ID required. While supplies last. Donors ages 16 or 17-years old need parental consent to be screened for COVID-19 antibodies. This test has not been FDA cleared or approved. It has been authorized by the FDA under an EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) for use by authorized laboratories. The test has been authorized only for the detection of the antibody IgG against SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens. Test results will be made available postdonation on the donor portal.
