Nancy Ann Harris, 80, longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23 in Owasso. She was born Nov. 13, 1940 in Memphis, Tenn. to William David McKay and Bernice Veda (Tyson) McKay.
Nancy Ann Harris, 80, longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23 in Owasso. She was born Nov. 13, 1940 in Memphis, Tenn. to William David McKay and Bernice Veda (Tyson) McKay.
She married Jerry A. Harris on Dec. 20, 1959 in Magnolia, Ark. and remained happily married until his death on Oct. 22, 2018. To this union two children were born, Jeri Ann and Sandy.
After moving to Henryetta, she along with husband Jerry opened the accounting firm of Jerry A. Harris, CPA. Nancy worked as bookkeeper and office manager until their retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henryetta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry A. Harris; and brother, Charles David McKay.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Jeri Ann Archer and fiancé Dickey Lovell of Owasso and Sandy Harris of Tulsa; three grandchildren, Samuel Dalton Deshields and wife Ashley of Broken Arrow, Ethan Ray Deshields of Broken Arrow and Mistie Brook Blevins of Merryville, Tenn.; four great grandchildren, Parker Ransom Blevins, Tanner Ransom Blevins, Zoey Ava Deshields and Daniel Paul Deshields; sister, Sue Getzin and Jim Lange of Boise, Idaho; as well as a host of friends and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
