Mark Steven Beaver, 65, resident of Morris, passed away Friday, Oct. 22 in Tulsa. He was born Dec. 14, 1955 in Henryetta to Nathaniel Spy Beaver and Charlene Freeman.
Mark Steven Beaver, 65, resident of Morris, passed away Friday, Oct. 22 in Tulsa. He was born Dec. 14, 1955 in Henryetta to Nathaniel Spy Beaver and Charlene Freeman.
Mark graduated with the class of 1974 from Morris High School. He was a Drilling Supervisor in the Oil and Gas Industry. Mark worked around the world horizontal drilling. He drilled in Singapore, Beijing, Mumbai, Dubi, Bahrain, Oman, Istanbul and across the United States.
He loved sharing his experience and teaching others. Mark was hard working, dedicated, and always striving to be better at whatever his was doing. He loved fishing and hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Spy Beaver and Charlene Freeman; a grandson, Dominic Duclos; and mother and father-in-law, Bob and Donna Ross.
Mark is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda (Ross) Beaver of Morris; daughters, Toni Beaver-Wares of Beggs, Tori Duclos and husband Drew of Twin Hills and Tana Beaver and husband Jason Hawkins of Schulter; grandchildren, Halli Beaver, Nate Beaver, Andrew Duclos, Toby Duclos, Drew Hawkins, Kylie Hawkins, Ashton Hawkins and Natali Hawkins; sisters, Vicky Beaver of Morris and Donna Crenshaw and husband Larry of Morris; brother, Casey McIntosh and wife Shirley of Dewar; brother-in-law, Darrell Ross and wife Paula of Hitchita; as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Morris with Reverend Ray Moffeit officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery with Casey McIntosh officiating under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
