Funeral services for Glenn Barnett, 87, resident of Dewar, will Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Glenn Barnett, 87, resident of Dewar, will Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
Mr. Barnett was born Aug. 15, 1934 in Henryetta to Grover and Artie (Yates) Barnett. He died Monday, Oct. 4 in Claremore.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Survivors include his daughter, Carla Stead of Snohomish, Wash.; son, Richard Barnett of Austin, Texas; brothers, Troy Barnett, Johnnie Barnett and Robert Barnett; grandchildren, Ryan Riley and Raymi Handshy; eight great grandsons; and former wife, Evelyn Barnett and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Junior, JT, Captain and Lloyd; sister, Nancy Whaley; son, Glenn Barnett Jr.; and grandchildren, LaTrisha, Amber, Ashley and Dhani.
