Memorial services to honor the life of Sherry Ruth Murphy, 65, resident of Henryetta, will be Thursday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. outside at Nichols Park. Brother Marcus Whitworth will say a few words and sing a few of Sherry's favorite songs. To honor her native heritage, there will be a native from the Muscogee Creek tribe dancing and playing the flute. The family urges everyone to attend who knew her or her family as they all need your support. Angie and Jessi will also give a joint eulogy. Please come with your stories of Sherry, good or ornery, we all know she was real ornery. Bring your lawn chairs if you need to sit, the service will last a couple of hours.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.
Mrs. Murphy was born Jan. 5, 1956 in Tulsa to Junior and Florine Biggs. She died Thursday, Sept. 9 in Henryetta.
Survivors include two daughters, Angie Kovacs and Jessi Murphy; a granddaughter, Stormi Kovacs; and her beloved dog, “Bubba.”
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Emanuel Murphy, Jr.; second husband, Urbie Rodgers; brother, Ronald Biggs; and grandmother, Violet Jones.
