Funeral services for Mandy Ruth Harjo, 66, resident of Okmulgee were Monday, Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. at Hickory Ground #1 Baptist Church south of Salem where Rev. Mitchell Taylor and Rev. Wallace Gambler officiated. Interment followed in the Harjo family cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Ms. Harjo was born July 25, 1955 in Wetumka to Benjamin and Christine Harjo. She died Thursday, Sept. 9 in Okmulgee.
Survivors include her daughters, Pam Edgar and husband Bill, Saira Boswell and husband Thomas and Amber Acosta and husband Edgar; grandchildren, Savannah Edgar, Sophie Edgar, Gabriel Boswell, Chloe Boswell, Isabella Zafar and Noah Jones; and siblings, Drew Johnson, Mary Wagner, Frank Harjo, Karen Powell, Anna Harjo, William Harjo, Bennie Harjo and Judy Montiel; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and close, loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James “Be-Be” Harjo; niece, Kristina Thomas; and nephew, Craig Bucktrot.
