The county commissioners gave their approval for the sheriff to apply to the Attorney General Safe Oklahoma Grant for Fiscal Year. The grant, if awarded, will be used to purchase 16 Dell rugged tablets with Windows OS and 16 tablet stands for patrol vehicles. This will replace the laptops currently in use in the patrol cars.

• Blanket Purchase Orders: Nuyaka Fire to RPI for parts and supplies as needed, $500; Nuyaka Fire to O’Reilly Auto Parts, parts and supplies as needed, $500; General Government, Dildine Lawn Care, $250; District 1, S&H Auto Parts, parts and supplies as needed for $1,000.
• Utility Permits: Oklahoma Natural Gas, District 1, gas line location, 563 N. 256 Road.
• District Attorney Monthly Expenditures Reimbursement for June for $427.18
• Election Board Secretary Salary Reimbursement for June for $4,353.35.
• Resolution #21-104 for Disposition of Equipment by the Sheriff ’s Department for a 2012 Dodge Charger
• Tabled action on a service and maintenance contract with Empire Elevators. Several items listed in the contract warrant further information being supplied by the company
• Contract between Eastern Oklahoma Youth Services and Okmulgee County for Juvenile Detention Services at Pittsburg County Regional Juvenile Detention Center in McAlester for FY2021-2022
Sharp Road and the Old Morris Highway are both still closed to traffic. Commissioner David Walker stated that Sharp Road repairs will begin as soon as water recedes.
