For the past year, MainStreet Customz, located at 100 E 7th St, has been providing Okmulgee with top-of-the-line boutique items at an affordable price.
Trisha Bailey, owner of MainStreet Customz, says after being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooling her now grown children, she decided it was time for her to take on something new. “I’m a kid’s pastor and started out doing custom tumblers. Everything just kind of grew from there.”
Many items within the boutique are locally made. “A lot of the graphic tees we sell are done locally as well as the ball caps.”
One company MainStreet Customz carries, “Keep It Gypsy”, specializes in upcycled, genuine Louis Vuitton custom items such as earrings, wallets, and purses. “Keep It Gypsy takes pieces off of old Louis Vuitton merchandise and adds it to something else,” Trisha said. Each item purchased from the Keep It Gypsy line comes with a card of authenticity. For those interested, MainStreet Customz also has genuine Louis Vuitton items available.
“We do have vendors that bring their items in the boutique, and we are always looking for more.” Among the vendors currently set-up at MainStreet Customz, Matilda Jane specializes in colorful dresses and clothing for girls and women. Brands such as KanCan, Judy Blue and Cello jeans and shorts are available as well.
“We have classic styles as well as jeans and t-shirts and the more laid-back look.” If you are looking for an outfit for a night out or just hanging out at the lake, there will be something here for you. “This is a place where you can find higher-end items at an affordable price.”
MainStreet Customz also carries items for toddlers including Bailey’s Blossoms.
“All of these items can be found on our new website that launched last Friday. We had our first sale Saturday and are very excited to offer that to our customers not able to come by the boutique.” Trisha is excited to be able to offer “Sezzle” for purchases. “Sezzle is a service we offer in store as well as on the website. It allows customers to purchase an item and pay with four interest free automatic payments over the span of six weeks.” Tricia says for each item, Sezzle sets the price that will be automatically taken from the customer’s account once it is set-up.
“We have clothing, accessories, purses, custom furniture, custom ball caps as well as team spirit items.” Men’s graphic tees will soon be available as well.
