Henryetta Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire around 9:50 a.m. on Friday at 8th and Meacham. Upon arrival, the house was fully involved in flames, Henryetta Fire Chief David Bullard said. The home was abandoned and there were no utilities. “Five years ago our department responded to a small fire at the same home,” Chief Bullard said. “The residents vacated and the home has not been lived in since.” Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and keep it from spreading to nearby storage buildings and homes. Cause of the fire remains under investigation. Dewar Fire Department assisted with the incident.
