AARP and First Family Federal Credit Union (FFFCU) are once again partnering to offer free tax preparation assistance.

“Our tax aide site opened on Feb. 3,” Shirley McCowan, of AARP, said. “Assistance will continue every Wednesday through April 7.”
The site is located at FFFCU’s The Briefcase at 313 W. Main Street.
Face masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced.
Appointments are required in order to provide counselors with your 2020 tax paperwork. Times will include 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In addition, two more days have been added for convenience – Saturday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A second appointment will need to be made when your taxes have been prepared and ready for pick up.
“AARP would like to thank First Family Federal Credit Union for providing this facility and bringing this program to your community,” McCowan said.
