Plainview and Henryetta Fire Departments were dispatched to a house fire on Bryant Road and 180 Road at 11:59 p.m. on March 15.
Upon arrival, first responders found the unoccupied home to be fully engulfed in flames.
“Due to the extreme weather and the home being fully engulfed in flames, there was no chance to save it,” Chief Sullivan said.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the home only, saving a near by two-car garage.
“The house was empty,” Henryetta Fire Chief David Bullard said. “There was nothing in it and no occupants.”
Cause of the fire continues to be investigated by the Okmulgee County Sheriff ’s Office.
