The Lady Demons stayed neck and neck with the Lady Haymakers the whole game until the last quartter, when Haskell overtook Beggs to win 59-54.
Heiress Hicks led the Lady Demons with 17 points.
Saniah Jordan followed with 10 points.
Caylee York and Myla Vaden scored eight points each.
Melea Phillips scored six points, Haily Barnes scored three points and Kiamynd Daniels scored two points.
The Lady Demons are now 1-2 with a win over Wilson and a loss at Mounds.
They will host Morris Friday.
Beggs’ basketball dome will have a capacity of 450 people for games now, the school announced on Facebook. They ask that masks be worn in the lobby, in the restrooms and where social distancing isn’t possible. They have closed the bench seating and ask that all fans sit in the chairs.
