Tournament of Champions canceled

Tulsa’s Tournament of Champions that was scheduled for Dec. 27-Dec. 29 has been canceled.

Beggs boys were scheduled to compete in the tourney.

TPS canceled the event due to rising COVID-19 numbers.

Instead, there will be a “Festival of Champions” event held at Jenks High School.

On Dec. 28, Beggs will play 5A firstranked Memorial at 3 p.m. On Dec. 29, Beggs meets Webster at noon.

Games will be held three hours apart so fans can clear the arena after each game.

The event was moved to Jenks so fans can attend as TPS policy doesn’t allow fans at their events. Schools will receive 125 tickets each and no tickets will be sold at the door.
