Henryetta Police Department, Henryetta Fire Department and Okmulgee County EMS responded to an accident at 10:01 a.m. on Monday in the 400 block of north 3rd Street. According to HPD Chief Steve Norman, it is believed the accident was caused by a medical issue suffered by the driver of an extended cab Ford pickup. The driver was transported to and remained in the the hospital Monday. “The truck went off-road, hit another truck, overriding it up and hit a house,” Chief Norman said. No other injuries were reported as the driver was alone and the other vehicle was unoccupied. The home suffered some damage, it is still livable PHOTO BY REBEKAH BAILEY
