“Aîer visiting with the Okmulgee County Health Department, all members of the varsity football team and coaching staff will have to undergo quarantine until Sept 8th.
“Our football student athletes will have to do distance learning during this time. Testing is offered through the Okmulgee County Health Department. If you have a student who becomes ill, please notify the high school office and keep us informed of the situation.”
Karch also stated the scrimmages scheduled for Friday night have been cancelled, as well as games scheduled on Sept. 4 and 11.
The Eagles were set to take on Okemah in their season opener followed by Hartshone on Sept. 11.
