The 2020 OK Kids Baseball Association closed out its five-week regular season last Friday. Okmulgee County little league teams solidified their rankings and set up their teams as they head into post-season play this week. The State Tournament for softball is set to begin on Thursday, July 16, while tee ball and baseball head into the regional tournament Friday, July 17.

Henryetta is the only town from Okmulgee County to send teams to the regional and state tournaments this year. The Henryetta Chaos 10U and 8U teams, as well as the 12U Henryetta Dream Crushers, will be representing the county at the softball state tournament.

The Henryetta Chaos teams dominated their divisions and ended the season with undefeated records. In the 10U division, the Henryetta Chaos was No. 1 with an 8-0 record and the 8U team was No. 1 with a 9-0-1 record.

The Henryetta Chaos 10U team is set to play in the first round of the State Tournament at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in Weatherford on Field 2. They are scheduled to play Seiling. The championship game for the 10U division is set for Saturday, July 18 at 2 p.m.

In the 8U division, the Henryetta Chaos are scheduled to compete in their first game on Thursday, July 16 at 5 p.m. The Henryetta Chaos will play the first round against the Woodward Knockouts. Games are set to continue Friday with the championship game set for Saturday, July 18 at 2 p.m.

The Henryetta Dream Crushers are also set to play in the 12U State Tournament in Stroud. They ended the 2020 little league season the top of their division with a 4-1-1 record. Championship games are set for Saturday at 12:30 for the semi-final round and the final is set for 2 p.m.

Also set to start on Thursday, the Dream Crushers will compete in round one at 4:30 p.m. on Field 2 against the Merritt Force.

OK Kids Baseball Association will also be hosting the Regional Tournaments for tee ball and baseball this weekend. Two Okmulgee County tee ball teams are set to compete in Atoka and Henryetta from July 17-18 - The Henryetta Lady Braves and the Henyretta Dingers.

The Henryetta Lady Braves will travel to Atoka to compete against other state little league teams in the No. 6 Tee Ball Regional Tournament. They are scheduled to have their first game on Friday at 6:30 p.m. against the Vian Wolverines.

The Henryetta Dingers will remain in Henryetta for the No. 4 Tee Ball Regional Tournament and also receive a bye the first round. They are set to play the winner of game 1, which pits the Panama Generals against the Sallisaw Redbirds. The Henryetta Dingers are set to have their first game on Friday at 8 p.m.

Tee Ball Regional Tournament championship games are set for Saturday, July 18 at 3:30 p.m. for both Atoka and Henryetta regional sites.
