Okmulgee County schools continue to prep for the 2020 fall season with fast-pitch, cross country and football teams taking precautions as Phase 2 approaches. It’s been a month since schools allowed athletes to get back to their sports. Henryetta Public Schools and Morris Public Schools were the first to allow its football teams to hit the field once again on June 2 with certain social distance guidelines in place. Preston, Okmulgee, Dewar and other county schools followed close behind starting just one week after Morris and Henryetta.
