The Dewar Dragons triumphed over the Gore Pirates Tuesday in an 11-0 shutout victory, overcoming their recent loss to the Roff Tigers Monday. The Dragons fought hard in the second inning to take the lead after shutting down Gore’s offense in the first inning. Dewar juniors Joey Fowler and Baylor Selby had big nights, earning two RBIs each against the Pirates. The Dragons also had Micah Cloud on the pitcher’s mound, throwing a no-hitter and seven strikeouts. Selby also took up pitching responsibilities for two innings, letting no hits by him and delivering four strikeouts.
