Unofficial results of the March 3 Presidential Preferential Primary were released early Wednesday morning for Okmulgee County Congressional District 2.
Results will not be officially certified until this afternoon-Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m.
Republican voters in the district chose Donald J. Trump with an overwhelming number of votes - 46,290.
Other Republican voter totals included:
• Joe Walsh with 877 votes;
• Matthew John Matern with 345 votes;
• Bob Ely with 256 votes;
• Roque Rocky De La Fuente with 155 votes;
• Zoltan G. Istvan with 77 votes.

The popular vote for District 2 Democrats was Joseph R. Biden with 19,917 votes followed by Bernie Sanders with 9,874 votes and Michael R. Bloomberg with 9,034 votes.
There were 11 other Democratic nominees with voter totals as follows:
• Elizabeth Warren with 5,030 votes;
• Amy Klobuchar with 2,152 votes;
• Tulsa Gabbard with 1,642 votes;
• Pette Buttigieg with 1,127 votes;
• Tom Steyer with 811 votes;
• Andrew Yang with 670 votes;
• Cory Booker with 527 votes;
• Michael Bennet with 489 votes;
• Marianne Williamson with 424 votes;
• Deval Patrick with 275 votes;
• Julian Castro with 211 votes.
Donald J. Trump was the popular Republican vote among all other Oklahoma Congressional Districts with totals as follows:
• Congressional District 1 – 57,951;
• Congressional District 3 – 68,317;
• Congressional District 4 – 53,609;
• Congressional District 5 – 47,385.
Joseph R. Biden won the Democrat votes across Congressional Districts with the following totals: • Congressional District 1 – 25,007;
• Congressional District 1 – 25,007;
• Congressional District 3 – 17,930;
• Congressional District 4 – 23,494; • Congressional District 5 – 31,204.
