A vehicle stolen out of Henryetta was discovered during the investigation of a car wreck earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Henryetta police officers were dispatched to Dewey Bartlett and West Main in reference to a vehicle in a ditch around 7:25 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they observed
Upon arriving at the scene, they observed two individuals identified as 19-year-old Clayton Boswell and 31-year-old Amanda McManus standing next to a silver Nissan.
Dispatch confirmed the vehicle as stolen and Boswell and McManus were detained.
During the investigation, the officers were informed by Boswell the vehicle had been "rented" from an individual, also according to court documents.
Drug paraphernalia, comprised of two needles, were found in the car. . One of the needles was empty, but the other reportedly had approximately 10 milliliters of a substance in it which was described in the report as "dirty brown fluid."
The officer performed a field test on the fluid and it tested positive for methamphetamine.
Both Boswell and McManus were transported and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail.
Boswell is being held on a complaint of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. His bond has been set at $10,000.
McManus is being held on complaints of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substance) and Paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $16,000.
Both will return to Okmulgee County District Court on March 5 at 2 p.m. before Judge Ramirez.
