Henryetta Police Department arrested two men after they were found breaking into a home.
According to a court affidavit on Jan. 24, officers were dispatched to a house in the 400 block of East Division Stree on a report of two male subjects wearing hoodies and attempting to break into a residence.
Officers arrived on the scene. As they approached the back door, they noticed it was ajar and heard noises coming from within the residence.
A male subject, who was later identified as 18-year-old Joshua Anthony Burney, exited a room and entered the hallway with his hands up, the record stated.
Burney was placed under arrest at which point he stated another person was inside the residence.
Because the second subject did not exit upon command, the officers conducted a search which yielded a man, identified as 19-year-old Clayton Douglas Boswell, hiding inside a pantry in the kitchen.
Boswell then was placed under arrest.
The two were then transported to the Okmulgee County Jail.
Boswell faces complaints of Second Degree Burglary, Obstructing Officers and Carrying a Weapon Unlawfully. His bond was set at $12,500.
Burney is being held on charges of Second Degree Burglary and a $10,000 bond.
Both have an initial appearance on Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. in Okmulgee County District Court.
