Henryetta resident Kristie Stidman is among 89 candidates who graduated from East Central University (ECU) with a master’s degree. Commencement ceremonies were held on Dec. 14 at the Kerr Activities Center on the ECU campus. ECU Distinguished Alumnus Tony A. Scott (1982) delivered the commencement address. The public university offers Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and master’s degrees. ECU is located in Ada, a city of 17,000, approximately 90 miles from Oklahoma City, 115 miles from Tulsa and 150 miles from Dallas. The university also offers online programs.
