Henryetta Elementary hosted “Frosty Fest,” a Christmas-holiday themed event for first through fifth grade students on Dec. 19-the last day of school.
The event replaced class parties for the holiday season.
Each class attended at specifically scheduled times.
Students enjoyed a cupcake decorating station, ornament making station, dance party with music, photo booth with festive decor, holiday inflatables and a variety of carnival-style games.
Treat Day was also incorporated into Frosty Fest as students were able to purchase Reese’s Christmas trees, popcorn, juice boxes or a pickle for 50 cents. Henryetta Booster Club hosted the concession.
Parents were encouraged to attend and some did, joining in on the dance party, games and photo booth.
Henryetta Booster Club members Leslie Jones, Sarah Thompson and Felicia McGowan worked hard in the concession, making sure the students were able to enjoy a few treats.
