Henryetta City Council members approved a $6,500 proposal from SignalTek for a traffic signal controller during a special meeting held Dec. 5 at the Civic Center.
The traffic signal controller located on Lake Road and Main Street will be upgraded due to the current light not changing correctly with traffic, Mayor Jennifer Munholland said.
Council members waived rental fees and a deposit in order for Tristan Demmitt to use the Civic Center for a free city-wide Christmas Community Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 21. A specific time and more information will be provided as the event nears.
A brief executive session was held to discuss confidential communications with City Attorney James Insabella regarding a pending litigation.
After reconvening from executive session, council members took no action and the meeting adjourned.
