Henryetta High School’s cross country team is back in action this Saturday with a meet in Tahlequah. After taking a week off, the Henryetta cross country team will continue their season at the 22nd Annual Sequoyah “Lamont Frazier” Cross Country Invitational. The varsity girls are set to begin the 3200 meter run at 9:45 a.m. with the JV girls following at 10:05. Once the girls complete the 3200, the varsity boys are set to begin the 5000 meter at 10:30 with the JV boys following at 10:55 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the top 25 finishers in the varsity races and the top 15 for JV. The Knights and Lady Knights have slowly improved their times from their season opener at Holdenville. They’ve competed in cross country meets in Seminole, Okemah, Kiefer and have participated in the OBU Invitational.
