Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts will gather at the off-road trails at Historic Nichols Park this weekend.
Dozens of riders from across the country will ride and show off their vintage 1950 through 1980 motorcycles at the T&S Racing American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) sponsored event.
Admission will be $10 per day with ages 10 and under admitted for free.
Two-time World MX Champion Trampas Parker will be the featured guest at the event as he joins other riders.
Cross Country Friday schedule will include sign-up from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., riders meeting at 1:45 p.m., sighting lap at 2 p.m., post vintage novice race start from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and post vintage intermediate and expert race from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday’s Cross Country schedule includes sign-up at 7 a.m., riders meeting at 7:45 a.m., all vintage classes plus post vintage plus race start from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and post vintage intermediate and expert race from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Vintage MX schedule for Saturday includes sign-up from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., riders meeting at 11:45 a.m., practice at 12 p.m. with the race to follow around 12:30 p.m. Sunday’s post vintage MX schedule includes sign-up from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Cowboy church service at 8:30 a.m., riders meeting at 9:15 a.m., practice at 9:30 a.m. and the race to follow at 10 a.m. There will also be the Okie Wild West Team Shootout with the Gold Boot Award to be presented. The Mayo MX Museum will be on hand with a variety of vintage bikes to be seen also. Spirit of Oklahoma girls will be on site featuring some of Oklahoma’s favorite foods.
