Shawn O’Grady and Buck Smith, renowed boxers, will be on hand Monday, Sept. 2 for the 3rd Annual Anthony Cook Boxing Clinic. Children 5-18-years-old are invited to attend the free clinic, which will be located at 1535 E. 6th Street in Okmulgee. The clinci is set to begin at 9 a.m. with registration at 8 a.m. Experienced boxing coaches will teach attendees the basics and instilling skills needed to participate in matches. Lunch will be provided the day of the event. Certificates will be awarded to all participants, while awards will distinguish those with the most developed skills.
