Henryetta little leaguers hit the ground running during first week of practice

The Henryetta Youth Football Association (HYFA) began practice this week, prepping for the fall football season. Putting on their armor, the Henryetta little league teams went through different offensive and defensive drills Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The HYFA is set to start its season Saturday, Aug. 24 on the road, playing Victory Chrisitian with playing times determined by grade. The 1st and 2nd grade teams kick start the season with the first game set for 4:30 p.m. Aug.

24. Following the 1st and 2nd grade games, the 3rd and 4th grade teams will hit the field at 6 p.m. The 5th and 6th graders will cap the night with the last game at 7:30 p.m.
