Muscogee (Creek) Nation (MCN) citizens filed for elected offices Monday through Wednesday for the 2019 MCN election.

Filings will not be considered official until 5 p.m. on Friday.

Candidates who filed include:

For Principal Chief – Steve Bruner, David Hill, George Tiger, Monte Randall, Lucian Tiger III, Joseph Rogers, Jr., Brenda Golden, Jackie Jackson, Timothy Good Voice and Samuel Alexander.

For Second Chief – Del Beaver and Adam Jones III.

Creek District Seat A: Joseph Hicks, Dode Warrington Barnett and Dean Hughes, Jr.

McIntosh District Seat A: Darrell Proctor and Charles Colbert. Muskogee District Seat A: Mary Crawford, Lora Harjo-King and Jessina Brown. Okfuskee District Seat A: Randall Hicks and Bert Robison. Okmulgee District Seat A: Grover Wind, Carmin Tecumseh-Williams, William Lowe, Patrick Moore and Brian Jones. Tukvpvtee District Seat A: Rufus Scott, Edwin Marshall and Anna Marshall. Tulsa District Seat A: Jerry Wilson, Cynthia Tiger and Robert Hufft. Wagoner District Seat A: Dierdra Soap, Pamela Snyder-Osmun, Charles McHenry and Terri Jorgensen. According to the Muscogee Nation Election Board, the Primary Election will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 and the General Election will be held Saturday, Nov. 2.
