Murder charges have been filed in the case of a Henryetta man, 36-year-old Edwin Dominic Reid, who was killed last week.
Glen Thomas West, 33, of Weleetka, has been charged with First Degree Murder after the body of Reid was discovered July 10 at a home in the 700 block of West Division in Henryetta.
West is also charged with First Degree Burglary.
A second suspect sought in the homicide case, 30-year-old Robert Cody Atkins of Okmulgee, turned himself in to authorities on July 13.
Atkins was booked into the Okmulgee County Jail and has also been charged with First Degree Murder and First Degree Burglary.
There is no bond on the charges for both West and Atkins.
An initial appearance is scheduled on Thursday, July 25 at 2 p.m. in Okmulgee County District Court.
Henryetta Police Department, with assistance from the District 25 Violent Task Force, investigated the death, which was the city’s first homicide since 2015.
