The McIntosh Tumblers, a nationally recognized gymastics team, is hosting open enrollment for the upcoming season Friday, July 26 from 5:30-7 p.m.
Classes range in age and experience, allowing any child, no matter their skill level, to participate in the Tumblers season, which runs August through May.
According to the Tumblers, classes are based on a first come, first served basis and class sizes are limited.
“Classes do have a number enrolled limit to ensure each child gets the amount of one-on-one time they deserve,” the McIntosh Tumblers stated.
Classes offered through McIntosh Tumbling include:
• Mom, Pop and Tater Tot - A 30 minute class one day a week for children 18 months to three-years-old. Times available for this class are 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Mondays.
• Tiny Tots - A 30 minute class that meets Mondays at 5 p.m. for three and four-year-olds.
• Beginners and Intermediate - A one hour class one day a week.
• Beginners and Intermediate 2 - A two hour class two days a week.
• Pre-Competition Team - A class for children wanting to move up to the competition team. Children meet for about an hour one day a week and will also practice with the Green Team either Tuesdays or Fridays
• Competition Teams - A three hour class that meets two days a week.
The McIntosh Tumblers recently returned from the USTA Nationals where they had three national champions. They also earned 23 top 10 trophies.
