BEGGS - Henryetta High School’s football team competed against the Mounds Golden Eagles for passing points Tuesday night in a 7-on-7 scrimmage. Traveling to Beggs, the Knights slayed the Eagles in a 20-minute scrimmage, gaining the upper hand both offensively and defensively.

The Knights were able to complete three touch downs, while the Eagles only earned two. Not only working double time offensively, the Knights also earned an interception.

With an interception and three touchdowns, the Knights defeated the Eagles in passing league action 23-16.

The Knights also gained experience against other local schools, including Bixby, Haskell, and Beggs.
