Henryetta Board of Education accepted resignations from three faculty members during a special meeting on June 26.
Resignations were received from Darin Johnson as head football coach and history teacher, Cody Dawson as Ag instructor and FFA advisor and Autumn Smith as first grade teacher.
Board members entered into a lengthy executive session to discuss hiring for the position of Indian Education Coordinator/High School Baseball Coach and Assistant Football Coach for the 2019-2020 school year.
After reconvening, board members hired Bryan Leader for the position.
Leader is a 2013 graduate of Henryetta High School and was most recently an assistant coach at Dewar Public Schools.
Board of Education members attending were Brandi Brown, Pam Bealko, David Bullard and James Williams. Newest board member Misty Sweeney was absent.
Supt. Dwayne Noble was also in attendance.
