Registration deadline for the 2019 Henryetta Labor Day and Baby pageants is Wednesday, Aug. 14.
The baby pageant will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. and Miss Labor Day will be held at 7 p.m. in the Henryetta High School Auditorium.
Along with the entry form, registration fees of $15 for the baby pageant and $25 for the main pageant should be submitted.
Categories to be judged will include Casual/Sports Wear, Party Wear and Talent for La Petite, Little Miss and Junior Miss categories.
Miss Labor Day will be judged on Casual Wear, Sports/Swim Wear, Formal Wear and Talent.
Both pageants are for contestants within a 25-mile radius of Henryetta and past winning queens cannot enter in the same category that they won previously. A dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. Petite Miss is for ages 4 to 7. Little Miss is for ages 8 to 11. Junior Miss is for ages 12 to 15. Queen is for ages 16 to 20. General conduct and information for the Miss Labor Day Pageant includes: Casual/Sports Wear can be anything suitable to wear to a casual or sporting event, but not a uniform that you would wear to participate in a sporting event. Party Wear can be anything suitable to wear to church at Easter. For the Junior Miss contest, Party Wear can be a floor-length formal or dress of any length. Back Stage Rules: During the Petite and Little Miss contests, there will be only one person per contestant allowed backstage. During the Junior Miss, no one will be allowed backstage with the contestants - this includes parents. General conduct for the Miss Labor Day Queen Contest includes: Casual Wear must include an outfit that you would wear to a casual or sporting event, not a uniform which you would wear to participate in an event. Sports/Swim Wear must be a one-piece swimsuit. Formal Wear can be formal wear of any kind of length. Talent can consist of anything that entertains the audience and shows contestant abilities and personality. Talent should be no longer than three minutes and be on cassette tape or CD with only one song per tape or CD allowed. Back Stage Rules: During the Queen contest, no one will be allowed backstage, including parents. Age divisions for the Baby Pageant include both boys and girls divisions as follows: 0 to 5 months, 6 months to 11 months, 12 months to 23 months, 24 months to 35 months and 36 months to 47 months.
