Schulter Board of Education appointed new board member Jerry Baughman to fill the vacant office number one seat at their June 3 regular meeting.
Quotes for property, liability and workers comp coverage for the 2019-2020 school year were reviewed and accepted.
General Fund and Building Fund warrants and claims were approved.
Superintendent Allen Callahan recommended, and board members approved, all of the following contracts for services for 2019-2020:
• Oklahoma State School Board Association (OSSBA) for legal advice.
• Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC) for consulting and PD.
• National Honor Society (NHS), NASSP for student recognition.
• Municipal Accounting Systems (MAS) for accounting software and programs.
• Oklahoma Teacher and Leader Effectiveness (OKTLE) for teacher evaluation software.
• Local tech Randy Witham for computer maintenance services.
• Organization of Rural Oklahoma Schools (OROS) for legal advice for rural schools.
• Sally Moore for psychological educational evaluations.
• Drug Abuse Testling Laboratories (DATL) for student drug testing.
• Compliance Resource Group (CRG) for bus driver drug testing.
Various extra duty coaching and sponsor contracts for the upcoming school year were reviewed and approved by board members before adjournment.
