The next meeting of Fostering Hope will be held Monday, June 10 at 6 p.m. at Hawthorne Park.
Fostering Hope exists to help foster families by providing support through connections, training and resources.
The group meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. These meetings are not designed for professionals or casual drop-ins, but a monthly lifeline for the family. These meetings are also a reference point to refer other resource parents for encouragement. During the summer months, Fostering Hope meets at the park where children can run and play--even get wet--while parents and families build strong connections. Those attending can bring a swim suit or shorts along with a towel and enjoy the new splash pad.
