Henryetta Board of Education hired Stacy Been and Justin Been as support staff and faculty at a May 21 special board meeting.
Stacy will serve as an Activity Clerk and Justin will serve as a Drama/U.S. History, World History, Government, Drivers & Safety Education teacher for the 2019-2020 school year
Three bids were received and opened for the sale of $720,000 in school district building bonds.
Bids included: BOK Financial Services with a net cost of $32,400 at an average interest rate of 2.25%, Baker Group of Oklahoma City with a premium of 72.00, net cost of $32,328 and average interest rate of 2.245% and First National Bank of Okmulgee with Country Club Bank of Kansas City with a net cost of $30,960 and 2.15% average interest rate.
First National Bank of Okmulgee with Country Club Bank was awarded the winning bid.
Board members in attendance were Brandi Brown, Pam Bealko and James Williams. Also, Superintendent Dwayne Noble attended and Tammie Fairres took minutes of the meeting.
