Okmulgee County Commissioners proclaimed this week, May 5 through May 11, as Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) Week at their Monday meeting.
Representatives from the county Home and Community Education group were also in attendance.
During the meeing, commissioners also approved an Invitation to Bid #14 for road materials for a six-month period.
Agenda items approved were:
• Officers Reports for the month of April – Assessor’s Office for $11,651.87; Court Clerk for $23,422.45; Election Board for $6,171.42; and the Health Department for $1,613.80.
• Blanket Purchase Orders - Morris News, County General for legal publications for $1,000.
• Declaration of Surplus to trade one 2007 dump truck.
• Resolution to dispose of equipment to trade one 2007 MAC dump truck.
• Lease purchase agreement for equipment for District 1 for a 2012 freightliner truck
• Agreement for Juvenile Detention Services for the 2019-2020 year with Tulsa County.
