An undercover sexual predator sting resulted in the arrest of a man Monday in Henryetta.
The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) reports that Keith McVicker, 44, was taken into custody after traveling to Henryetta to meet what he thought was an underage female for sexual intercourse.
OCSO Investigator Aaron Swayze said McVicker had been communicating with undercover officers for several weeks attempting to arrange a meeting.
McVicker reportedly traveled to Henryetta Monday to meet. Upon his arrival at the agreed upon location, he was arrested by undercover officers.
McVicker is being held in the Okmulgee County Jail on a complaint of Indecent Proposal to a Child.
The OCSO said the investigation is ongoing and it is unknown if there are any more victims.
McVicker is the assistant fire chief at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.
The amount of bond was not available at press time.
