Jaxen Wright is an eighth grade FFA member of the Henryetta FFA Chapter. He has been very active being that this is his first year in FFA. He has participated on many different CDE and LDE teams such as Parliamentary Procedure, Cattle Grading, Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Horse Judging.

Even though it is his first year, he has already won Reserve Grand Champion Prospect Steer and AOB Reserve Breed Champion Prospect Steer at the Okmulgee County Spring Livestock Show. Jaxen also won Division Champion Prospect Steer Light Weight and Reserve Champion Commercial Heifer at the Okmulgee County Fair.

Jaxen said his favorite part about FFA is getting to compete at cattle grading competitions and showing his steer.

His future goals in FFA are to become a chapter officer and career goals are to graduate high school and college. After graduation he plans to work as an Agricultural Engineer.
