The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for failing to register as a sex offender.
Tyrone Davis Alexander, 49, was taken into custody on March 8, according to the sheriff’s office.
OCSO deputies had been looking for Alexander, who reportedly had failed to register as a sex offender after previously being convicted for lewd molestation. The department received information that he was located in the Henryetta area.
OCSO deputies and officers with the Henryetta Police Department were able to locate and arrest Alexander who was found hiding in a Henryetta residence.
Alexander was booked into the Okmulgee County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000.
His next appearance is 2 p.m. April 18 in Okmulgee County district court.
