The Okmulgee County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution for the Fair Board Election during Monday’s session.
The filing period for interested candidates will take place from Jan. 7-11, 2019 and the election, if needed, is planned for Feb. 2, 2019.
The board also approved the ffollowing agenda items:
•Bid #4 for road materials for six-month period awarded based on agent recommendation.
•Bid #7 for legal publication for twelve-month period awarded to Morris News.
•Requisitioning and Receiving Officers - Nuyaka Fire Department, Sasha Wright and Clint Atwell as Requisitioning Officers and Charlie Dildine, Udonna Edmonds and Clint Atwell as Receiving Officers.
•Reimbursement claim for expenditures of District Attorney’s Office for the month of November in the amount of $863.80.
•Review Bridge Reports and approve invoicing.
•Invitation to Bid #8 for weekly/ monthly rental of smooth drum roller and/ or track hoe for six-month period.
•Monthly Appropriations.
Due to the upcoming holiday, the Okmulgee County Courthouse will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Regular operations will resume on Wednesday.
