Bible study, December 15, 9:30 a.m
“Unity in Worship” is the title of our study this week. Worship is due to God because He made us, and when we sold out to another He purchased us back at infinite cost to Himself. As our Creator and Redeemer, rightful owner of the universe, our honor, loyalty and respect are to be given only to Him, not to anyone or anything else
In the last days God's people will be pressured to enter into false worship. Only by searching His Word diligently and praying earnestly for wisdom and power to understand and to do His will can we expect to stand fast and be ready when He comes. It is this entering into earnest study and prayer together that draws us into unity with Christ and with one another.
Study texts are Psalm 29:1,2; Daniel 3:8-18; Matthew 4:8-10; Acts 2:42,46,47; 4:23-31; 17:10-12; Ephesians 5:17-21; 6:18; Revelation 4:8,11; 13:4-8; 14:6-10 and 15:2-4.
Worship service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at both churches. Midweek service is on Tuesday at 7:30 at the Maranatha church and Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Okmulgee Church.
