HENRYETTA - The annual Wilson Tiger Classic basketball tournament will take place next week (December 3-8) at the Wilson (Henryetta) High School gymnasium. The week-long tournament will feature seven varsity

HENRYETTA - The annual Wilson Tiger Classic basketball tournament will take place next week (December 3-8) at the Wilson (Henryetta) High School gymnasium. The week-long tournament will feature seven varsity basketball teams and one junior varsity team. The girls tournament field will feature varsity teams from Midway, Hanna, Wetumka, Schulter, Graham-Dustin, Riverfield, and Wilson and the junior varsity team from Dewar. The boys tournament field will feature varsity teams from Midway, Hanna, Dewar, Schulter, Graham-Dustin, Riverfield, and Wilson and the junior varsity team from Wetumka. The Tiger Classic will get started Monday at 4:30 p.m. with a girls first-round game between Midway and Hanna. The other girls opening-round contest on Monday will be between Wetumka and Schulter. Monday's first-round boys games will pit Hanna against Midway at 5:45 p.m. and Graham-Dustin against Wetumka's JV at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday's opening-round games in the girls division will see Graham-Dustin against Riverfield at 4:30 p.m. and Wilson against the Dewar JV at 7 p.m. Tuesday's first-round contests will feature Dewar against Schulter at 5:45 p.m. and Riverfield against Wilson at 8:15 p.m. After a break Wednesday, the tournament action will resume Thursday with semifinal round action. The girls semifinal games will be held at 4:30 and 7 p.m., respectively, while the boys semifinal contests will take place at 5:45 and 8:15 p.m., respectively. The first eliminations of the tournament will occur next Friday with four consolation semifinal contests. The girls loser's bracket games will take place at 4:30 and 7 p.m., respectively, while the boys elimination contests will be held at 4:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., respectively. Saturday's tournament action will begin with the girls consolation finals at 1 p.m. followed by the boys fifth-place game at 2:20 p.m. The third-place contests Saturday will be held at 3:40 and 5 p.m., respectively. The week-long tournament will conclude with the tournament championship games. The girls title contest will take place at 6:20 p.m. followed by the boys championship game at 7:40 p.m. Below is the complete schedule for the Wilson Tiger Classic basketball tournament. ---
