A fun time is promised at “A Christmas to Remember” on Tuesday, plus a chance to win a portion of $1,000.
The Okmulgee Times, in conjunction with Okmulgee Main Street, is hosting the community event from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Okmulgee Community Center, located on 1201 W. 7th Street.
Attendees can enjoy live entertainment from Ms. Jackson’s Theatre Group, Baptist Village Bell Ringers, Cassidy Bailey, and Brandie Taylor. Santa Claus will also make a stop and children will have the opportunity to take pictures with him from 5-6 p.m.
Vendors will have booths set up, selling and passing out items for the holidays, and will also be giving away tickets for select door prizes. Attendees will also be given tickets entering them for a chance to win a total $1,000 in cash prizes.
The Okmulgee Times is also partnering with the Christian Motorcycle Association, helping promote and generate donations for their annual toy drive.
Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated for the drive. Toys for all ages will be accepted.
Food will be provided to attendees, including Domino’s Pizza, cookies and hot chocolate along with light refreshments. There will also be an ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ contest for anyone attending. There is still booth space available for vendors. If you have a specialty product, or unique gifts, please contact the Okmulgee Times at 918-756-3600.
