American Exchange Bank (AEB) in Henryetta announces five staff members recently received awards for five to 15 years of service to the bank.

Receiving a 40-year service award was Terri Thompson, who began a career at AEB as a Proof Operator. She is the current President and also a member of the Board of Directors, having been elected in 2014. Additionally, Thompson serves on the Oklahoma Bankers Association Board of Directors and is the Southeastern Oklahoma Bankers Association Vice President and Director. She is on the Henryetta Medical Center Community Board, serves as Henryetta Rotary Club Treasurer and is a Girl Scouts Little House Board member. Thompson and her husband Rick have two children, Reid and Brandi and two grandchildren, Izzy and Beau.

“The American Exchange Bank has given me the opportunity to develop my career as a banker,” Thompson said.

In 1988-for the past 30 years, Danyiel Green has been employed by AEB. Currently, she is the Vice President of the bank. A member of Henryetta Lions Club, Green and her husband Bobby have one son, Taylor, and a daughter-in-law, Loren.

Awarded with a 20-year service award, Kimberly Stoy started her career at AEB as a Loan Secretary. In 2018, she also became Corporate Secretary at AEB. A Henryetta Lions Club member, Stoy is a board member at Henryetta Nazarene Church and the Salem/Ryal Fire Department. Her husband is Bart Stoy.

For 15 years, Liz Green has been custodian at AEB. Her duties are working behind the scenes in order to ensure that everything and everyone are taken care of at the bank. Green has three children, Jason, Derrick and Marissa and five grandchildren, Noah, Julian, Jude, Aubrey and Grace.

Awarded with a five-year AEB service award, Corbet Witham was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President of the bank. Also, he has held the position of IT Supervisor for five years. A native to Henryetta, Witham is very involved in community activities. He serves as the Captain of AEB’s Relay for Life team and is a Lions Club member. Witham and his wife Kim have two children, Hayley and Byron.

If you see any of these loyal AEB employees, be sure and congratulate them on their years of dedication to the bank and the community.
