First graders explain ‘How to cook a turkey’

First graders in Mrs. Glover’s classroom at Henryetta Elementary have joined other Okmulgee County schools as they share their own “directions” on how the holiday staple should be cooked.

Henryetta Free-Lance is proud to share the students’ responses on “How To Cook A Turkey” with our readers.

Ciera – First, kill a turkey. Next, shave the turkey. Then, cook a turkey. Cook at 40 degrees for 4:00 minutes. Serve with turkey turkey!!!

Bella – First, cook it. Next, turkey it eat. Then, I love turkey. Cook at oven degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with chicken.

Makayla – First, you buy a turkey. Next, put it on a platter. Then, put it in a oven. Cook at 40 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with fruit.

Isabella – First, buy a turkey. Next, seasons and stuffing. Then, a plate. Cook at 50 degrees for 4 minutes. Serve with gravy and salt.

Wyatt – First, kill turkey. Next, shave turkey. Then, cook turkey. Cook at 20 degrees for 4:00 minutes. Serve with a plate with a turkey.

Hayley – First, cook it. Next, take it out. Then, put it on a plate. Cook at oven degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with chicken.

Allison – First, I love turkey. Next, you can eat turkey. Then, I can eat it. Cook at 10 degrees for 5 minutes. Serve with gravy.

Ryker – First, put it on a plate. Next, put it in the oven. Then, take it out. Cook at 5 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve with dressing.

Gage – First, you cook the turkey. Next, take it out of the oven. Then, put seasoning on it. Cook at your home degrees for 17 minutes. Serve with spinach.

Keegan – First, get a turkey. Next, put it on a platter. Then, put it in the oven. Cook at 700 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with hashbrowns.

Aziah – First, kill the turkey. Next, shave the turkey. Then, cook the turkey. Cook at 40 degrees for 4:00 minutes. Serve with a turkey.

Tanner – First, you have to put stuffing with vegetable to stuff it. Next, put it in the oven. Then, set the timer. Cook at 400 degrees for 90 minutes. Serve with stuffing and mashed potatoes.

Grayson – First, a turkey. Next, take the bone out. Then, cook it. Cook at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with gravy.

Kelsie – First, grill it. Next, put salt and pepper. Then, put it on a plate. Cook at 10 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with mash potatoes.

Warion – First, buy a turkey. Next, put a net in the turkey. Then, put the turkey in the oven. Cook at 70 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with sweet potatoes.

Logan – First, put it in the oven. Next, take it out. Then, cut it up take the stuffing out. Cook at 20 degrees for 12 minutes. Serve with chicken nuggets.

Alyssa – First, get it from a place. Next, put it in a pan. Then, put it in a oven. Cook at medium degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with pan.

Roy – First, I go to the shop. Next, go back home. Then, and then I cook. Cook at home degrees for 71 minutes. Serve with a tray.

Mason – First, I go to the shop. Next, go back you. Then, you the yowkll. Cook at 00L degrees for 5:037 minutes. Serve with lok low voksl.
